Art & Science Productions, LLC is a Los Angeles-based entertainment production company with a passion for children’s programming and children’s education. The idea behind its formation was to use art for the purposes of science and to put science to work for the purposes of art.

The founder of the company – Marina Ratina – is an animation producer who is currently working on a widely popular animated series Masha and the Bear received multiple international awards and was listed among “250 TV shows, which are destined to become a classic” by the Animation Magazine in 2015. Previously Marina has worked as a technical director at Oscar-winning effects company Rhythm & Hues, contributing to major Hollywood blockbusters, such as Alvin and the Chipmunks, Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian, The Incredible Hulk, The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor and others. Prior to starting her career in entertainment, Marina received a Masters of Science degree in Applied Mathematics and for several years worked as a software engineer.
